Key Account Manager
My client, a leading global travel management firm are seeking to hire an experienced corporate travel professional for the position of key account manager.
Job Purpose: Key Account Manager is a senior role responsible for all Account Management deliverables and accountability for leading the strategic direction of our flagship customers over $50M in global spend. You will be responsible for significant revenue retention, identification of growth opportunities, commercial negotiation and delivering a winning strategy for our largest corporate customers. • As a Key Account Manager your objective is to nurture effective client relationships and deliver a comprehensive travel service. The role will involve managing the relationship between our firm and agreed global clients.
Qualification & Experience Required • 5 years minimum extensive client/account relationship management experience ideally with complex global/multinational clients • Thorough understanding of the business travel and ideally GDS and other travel systems • Demonstrated experience in B2B sales over multiple years • Demonstrated strong time management skills and attention to detail • Demonstrated superior negotiation skills • Highly developed analytical and presentational skills • Ability to articulate knowledge about products, services and value proposition to customers • Highly tuned interpersonal skills
