JOB VACANCY – FINISHING SUPERVISOR

My client, a leading security printers based in Bray, Co. Wicklow, now wish to recruit a Finishing Supervisor to join their Production Department.

Key Responsibilities:

To accomplish manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and disciplining employees;
initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies and procedures.

Lead by example showing a personal high standard of conduct including behaviour, absenteeism, time keeping and official breaks.

Ensure all necessary materials are available to allow continuity of work

Accurately maintain and file time sheets, reconciliation sheets and provide accurate and timely management information utilizing Excel spreadsheets

Ensure quality standards are achieved and maintained

Liaise with Finishing and Production Manager to organize production workflow to achieve operational goals

Recommend appropriate changes to improve production efficiency

To carry out stock-taking as required

To liaise with Engineers/IT to maintain appropriate levels of machine up-time

Liaise with sales team and customers as required

Position requires Supervisor to carry out operational tasks as required

Qualifications:

Must have supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Fully proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
