CSR/Print Account Manager

Principal Objective of Position

The primary responsibility of this role is to advise and provide value to all customers through ascertaining their specific needs, discussing alternative products, and managing the delivery of the associated project. 




  1. Effective Customer Relationships - 40% of time

Enhance Customer relationships by proactively adding value to our existing and prospective customers enquiries, researching the customer profile, asking relevant questions to understand business needs, listening and always working to give a mutually positive result.

  • Focus on increasing conversion ratios by following up with all enquiries and ensuring all questions are answered appropriately
  • Expand the product mix per customer by taking time to understand the customer, their business, phase of development etc. and advising them of other products that may suit their current or future needs
  • Maintain a call cycle log to ensure all current customers receive regular follow up communications to drive retention
  • Take every opportunity to build and maintain relationships with customers, particularly where there is a dissatisfaction. Address the issue promptly and professionally by phone rather than sole reliance on email.


  1. Expand value offering– 40% of time

Display a genuine passion to proactively discuss our range of marketing solutions by truly understanding and identifying what value means to our customers.

  • Develop and sustain a thorough knowledge of all marketing solutions that we can offer
  • Drive profitability through selling multiple solutions when discussing our customers needs
  • Proactively calling, discussing and understanding our customer requirements
  • Develop and uphold strong working relationships within the team, communicating freely and regularly to ensure an alignment to business goals.
  • Identify lost opportunities and explore the reasons why taking preventative action where possible
  • Support Customer Service from time to time with quotation creation
  • Drive campaigns and outreach emails
  • Arrange client meetings through proactive calling as required



  1. Administration– 20% time

Ensuring there are consistent administrative procedures to through adherence to company procedures. People run the systems which run the business.


  • Create and use a default diary to manage the necessary activities of the day, week and month
  • Spend time each day fostering excellent customer/colleague communications
  • Seek opportunities to continuously improve our processes
  • Collect key metrics – quotes per day and daily sales revenue – MIS solution

Job Specification


  • A flair for creative thought
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a professional business environment
  • Professional phone and email manner
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Google docs. etc.


  • Certificate or higher in office skills, sales or customer service
  • Business to business customer service experience
  • Knowledge of design, website, digital marketing, and / or promotional products
  • Experience of working with systems i.e. CRM, databases, MIS etc.
  • An appreciation for design, digital, or a print related background (optional)
